<Oak Hill Summer Program Registration>


Week 1 – June 19-23

Summer Painting Camp 1

  • open to students entering 1st grade – 8th grade in the Art Room
  • 8:00-9:30
  • $165

This camp will teach acrylic painting techniques that focus on texture, movement, composition and color theory.  Students will learn to mix their own colors, set up and clean up their painting supplies and paint on canvas.

International Chefs & Bakers 

  • Open to students in grades 1-4
  • 8:30-11:30am & option= (11:30am-12:00pm extra time for lunch)
  • $300 & option = ($325 – please note students must provide their own lunch)

Take a trip around the world with Mrs. Savarese. Students will discover the world through reading, cooking, and hands on activities. Each day student’s will learn about a different country around the world. Students will hear stories from this country, learn about its culture, and create a meal from that part of the world as well as make a special craft each day. At the end of the week, students will leave with their very own cook book highlighting the recipes created over the week.

Lights Up: Putting on a Play! - Session A

  • open to students entering grades 3rd - 9th.
  • 9:30am – 12:00pm  (Performance June 23 @ 11:30am in SAC)
  • $215 

Session A – Budding actors will perfect their performance skills by participating in a variety of Drama games and exercises that will improve their stage presence, diction, projection, and movement. A large part of the day will be spent working together devising an original play that will be performed in the Student Activities Center for family and friends on the last day of class.  Working on scenery as well as gathering props and costumes for the performance will be included, too!  There will be a short snack break; please pack a light morning snack and something to drink each day.

Let’s Clay Around

  • open to students entering 1st grade – 8th grade in the Art Room
  • 9:30-11:00
  • $165

Clay is something that is fun for everyone!  Students will have the opportunity to work with three types of clay, ceramic clay, Model Magic and Sculpey clay.

Lunch / Snack Time

  • Primarily intended for those students attending both Clay Around and Crafts that Rock!
  • 11:00-11:30 Bring Your Own lunch. Only Small snacks will be provided.

Crafts that Rock!

  • open to students entering 1st grade – 8th grade in the Art Room
  • 11:30-1:00
  • $165

The most obvious benefit of doing arts and crafts is that the activity foments creativity. This summer we will be tie-dying, painting, creating Sculpey clay jewelry and sculptures, using various methods of kiln fired ceramics, Model Magic, Macramé, and other crafting techniques.

Lego Camp 1

  • open to students entering Kindergarten –8th grade in the Art Room
  • 1:00 - 2:00 pm
  • $100

Colorful and easy to use, Lego bricks have withstood the test of time because of their unlimited open-ended possibilities. There is not just one way to play with a set of Legos.Join us this summer for a few days of Lego fun.


Week 2 – June 26-30

Disney Musicals Drama Camp!  

  • open to students entering grades 1st – 4th.
  • 8:00am – 9:15am 
  • $100

Bring the magic of Disney to life on stage at OHA! Each day budding performers will meet in the SAC to reenact scenes as well as learn songs and dances from their favorite Disney Musicals such as "The Lion King," "The Little Mermaid," “Peter Pan,” “Aladdin” and "Frozen"just to name a few. The students will also take part in a variety of drama games and movement exercises as well as making masks and puppets.  There will be a short snack break; please pack a light morning snack and something to drink each day. (sorry no early drop off)
